Hair Care Can Be a Frustrating Thing |

Hollywood makes it look so easy when stars show up all dolled up at events, perfect hair, skin, makeup, etc. However, we all know that's fake. Truth is, those women spend hours at the salon to look perfect. Some even spend hundreds of dollars to "permanently" straighten their hair. While others simply save their money and use an iron or straightening gel, or some other kind of hair care product.
Then there the more mundane and everyday hair products, shampoo and conditioner. I'm sure I'm not the only person that likes to stick with a brand of hair care products for years, until the manufacturer no longer makes them. I still remember this orange colored shampoo from the 80s and still remember what it smelled like. I can't for the life of me tell you the name of it though. Just that my memories of that shampoo are tied to my memories of camp. Once they stopped making that, I had to search around for another hair care product, something that worked with my hair. I didn't have to many problems as a teenager though, pretty much anything worked well for me. My twenties were different. Maybe it was that my hair changed, went from straight to curly, I started coloring it, then the silvers started to crop up. Whatever the case may be, it took some trial and error experimenting with different brands of hair care products until I found what worked well. And of course, that only lasted until I could no longer find that brand.
It can be so frustrating. I find it funny how I used to spend less money on things like makeup and hair care products when I was younger, but I can't do that anymore, because they don't work well for me. I now use pricey makeup and shampoo and conditioner. But now that I found the right hair care products, my hair has never looked better.
